Located in the heart of the Landes, the Saubusse Thermal Baths are approved by Social Security, allowing our spa clients to benefit from full coverage for their thermal cure. This agreement reflects our commitment to providing high-quality thermal care, recognized for its numerous health benefits.
How to Obtain Coverage for Your Thermal Cure
To qualify for Social Security reimbursement, your thermal cure at Saubusse must be prescribed by your primary care physician and last for 3 consecutive weeks, totaling 18 days of treatments. These criteria are essential to ensure optimal coverage.

A DOCTOR ON-SITE DURING YOUR THERMAL CURE
Dr. Domercq, a thermal medicine physician, joined our medical team at the end of 2021. He pursued a thermal medicine diploma to enhance the Saubusse facility, customize treatments, and tailor various protocols. He is also certified and specialized in sleep medicine.
Dr. Lebrette joined the team in September 2024 and will also be available on-site. In addition to her work here, she is a specialist in nutrition.
Together with our dedicated care team—comprising physiotherapists, an osteopath, a podiatrist, and registered nurses—they are developing several treatment themes and protocols, including:

Our team’s goal is to strengthen and enhance your treatment journey, paying close attention to your pain to improve your well-being during and after your rheumatology-phlebology cure.
Since late 2024, our doctors have been offering workshops on sleep and nutrition, alongside hypnosis sessions led by our nurse Bénédicte.
Our physiotherapists will collaborate with our doctors on specific treatments and protocols during your sessions.
Our physiotherapy team includes Iulian, Emeline, Virginie, Geoffrey, Thierry, and Patrice.
